Frequently asked questions.

What to know about Walter and the planned Shopify app.

Is the Walter Shopify app available?

The native Shopify app is coming soon. In the meantime, you can use Walter in your browser to refine a draft, then manually add the copy to Shopify.

Can I rewrite a Shopify product description today?

Yes. Use Walter as a separate writing tool, review the revised description and copy the finished text into Shopify. This does not connect or synchronize your store.

Does Walter publish changes to my store?

The manual workflow shown here does not publish to Shopify. You decide what to copy into your store and when to publish it.

What should I check before publishing rewritten copy?

Review product specifications, prices, availability, care instructions and any claims. Keep the final description accurate and consistent with your brand.

Is this the same as a Zapier or API integration?

No. A native Shopify app, a Zapier workflow and a custom API integration are separate ways to connect software. This page does not describe a verified Shopify automation or API setup.

Where can I find installation and pricing details?

Shopify app installation, supported fields and pricing details are not yet available here. The Explore Walter button opens the existing Walter web app, not a Shopify installation flow.
